Who are we?
Raising and Giving (RAG) is a student-run fundraising group based at the University of Aberdeen.
Our aim is to fundraise for local charities in and around Aberdeen in order to give back to our community.
We fundraise both independently and support other societies in their own fund-raising where possible.
Each year we chose charities we believe would benefit from our help and we recently picked our 2024/2025 charities.
Men in Mind is dedicated to promoting mental wellbeing & reducing the stigma surrounding men’s mental health. Their mission is to create a community where mental health is openly discussed and supported.
Grampian Women’s Aid is an organisation that provides support and services to women, children, and young people affected by domestic abuse in the Grampian region of Scotland.
Tillydrone community flat serves as a vibrant hub offering a variety of free services and support to residents of the Tillydrone area, such as a foodbank and crèche.
Denis Law Legacy Trust is a children's charity that supports and empowers young people to thrive through a range of positive pathways and free to access activities.
